SERVICE
Q: How does the custom jewelry design process work?
A: We make each ring individually per client. Here are a few steps we use as a general outline for our clients.
Step 1. Concept: Client submits picture or drawing, or we create one from client’s design ideas.
Step 2. Quote: Detailed quotation with total cost, sketches, stones sizes, weights and other relevant details.
Step 3. Approval/Down payment: Upon approval of quote and receipt of 25% non-refundable down payment work will begin.
Step 4. Wax model: If the project involves casting, a wax model will be created, giving the customer the opportunity to see the design in three dimensions.
Step 5. Approval of Wax: Modifications can be made at this stage if necessary. Upon approval, the wax is cast in metal stones are set, and the piece is polished and cleaned.
Step 6. Finished Piece: Upon payment of the balance the finished item is presented. Any additional services such as appraisal or laser inscription are also done at this time.
Q: How do I find the correct finger size?
A: Refer to the chart below for a finger size reference.
Q: What should I do if I present the ring and the finger size is incorrect?
A: Please bring the ring back to us and we will return it to you in 1-3 days at no charge. We recommend opting for the larger size so the ring will go on.
Q: What should I do to insure that my girlfriend (fiancé) loves the ring?
A: We suggest a temporary setting? A temporary engagement ring is what the groom proposes with before the final ring selection has been made. This type of ring is often used in instances when the groom wants the proposal to be a surprise but wants the bride’s input on the ring. We recommended this option so the bride-to-be can wear her temporary ring until she decides on her ideal setting based on her lifestyle and personality. The temporary ring is $300 with a $50 setting fee. Diamonds Forever will give couples a transfer credit of $300 towards their final selection.
Q: I have some diamonds from an existing piece of jewelry that I wanted to incorporate into my ring. Can I use them?
A. Most certainly.
Q: I wanted my engagement ring to be set with blue sapphire side stones beside my center diamond. Can you do that?
A: Yes. Nothing can limit your imagination.
Q: I have a picture of a ring I liked. If I showed it to you, can you make it for me?
A: Yes
Q: How long does it take for my custom ring to be created?
A: 2 – 8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the ring.
Q: Do you sell diamond jewelry other than engagement rings?
A: Yes diamond stud earrings, pendants, tennis bracelets and more.
Q: Can I sell my diamond to Diamonds Forever?

Q: How often do I need to get my ring inspected?
A: We require that we see the ring at least once every six months for stone tightening and monitoring the wear of the ring.
Q: Can I have my ring engraved?
A: We can engrave the inside of rings and all other jewelry items that have the appropriate amount of space.
Q: Do you insure jewelry?
A: We do not insure jewelry ourselves. We recommend you insure your ring through your homeowner’s insurance policy.
Q: Are Diamonds Forever diamonds conflict-free?
A: All diamonds at Diamonds Forever have been purchased from legitimate sources in compliance with United Nations Resolutions and the Kimberly Process Scheme. We are diligent to ensure that all our suppliers follow all necessary protocols required by law.
PAYMENTS
Q: What type of payments do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit cards (American Express excluded), money orders, cash and checks.
Q: When will my credit card be billed?
A: We require an initial 25% deposit. The remainder of the balance will be billed upon completion of the ring.
Q: Do you have financing available?
A: Yes. Make an appointment and come in to fill out a simple five-minute application. Processing time only takes a few minutes. Payment plans are also available. Please give us a call or send us an email to discuss your options.
