Imagine you lost your engagement ring and were put in the position to decide whether or not to purchase the same ring again. Would you? Paying for the item the second time is painful. Avoid having to make this difficult decision entirely by having your jewelry appraised and insured.
How much does it cost for a jewelry appraisal?
Insurance Reports -$75 each for the first two items and $55 for each additional item.
Most appraisals (95%) fall within these pricing parameters. If there will be any additional cost, we will inform you before any work is performed.
Our appraisals include:
- A full description of the item
- Digital image of the piece
- Weights & measurements of all stones contained in the piece
- Researched value of the item
- A printed copy of your appraisal. Upon request, a faxed copy of the appraisal can be sent directly to your insurance agent.
We work by appointment and in most cases clients leave our office with the appraisal in their possession. An appointment for one or two items usually takes about one hour to complete.

After purchasing a piece of Jewelry, we highly recommend that it be treated as an asset. In doing so, getting the item appraised and obtaining insurance for the piece should be your first step.
