At Diamonds Forever, we’ve mastered the craft of antique jewelry restoration. Ready to revive your heirlooms? We can’t wait to meet you!
The Art of Restoration
Restoring antique jewelry is like stepping into the shoes of a time-traveling jeweler. Over the years, I’ve learned that it’s not just about making a piece look new again. It’s about celebrating each piece’s unique character and bringing out its hidden beauty. Whether it’s a Victorian brooch, an Art Deco ring, or a vintage necklace ~ our skilled team takes pride in meticulously restoring each piece with the care it deserves. We ensure it’s ready to be worn for generations to come. At Diamonds Forever, we do more than restore jewelry ~ we bring back the stories that make them sparkle. Are you ready to rekindle your heirloom’s story?
Why Choose Restoration?
Why bring an antique back to life instead of picking something new? Well, because nothing tops the sentimental value of a piece that’s been lovingly passed down through the family. That’s where the magic lies ~ each scratch, each tiny imperfection tells a story. Our restoration process honors that history while giving your jewelry the sparkle it’s been waiting for. Plus, restoring an heirloom can be kinder to your wallet than buying something new ~ especially when the original materials are of high quality. Restoring an heirloom is like giving a beloved old book a new cover. The book is still filled with the same cherished stories ~ just with a fresh shine. Ready to give your heirloom a new chapter?

In 2024, for Sandi S, we restored an antique Art Deco flower ring with transitional cut diamonds set into 18K yellow gold with by-hand filagree: “I recently brought in a ring that belonged to my grandmother, a beautiful piece with a couple of missing diamonds. I wasn’t sure what to do with it, I really wanted to fix it so I could wear it, but I didn’t want just anyone to touch it because I would be sick if it got ruined. Luckily, my coworker had just gotten engaged and was raving about Jenny at Diamonds Forever, who had done an heirloom redesign for her. I was impressed with what I saw, so I decided to check them out. From the moment I met Jenny, I felt comfortable. She examined the ring and knew exactly what it needed. She explained that it might take some time to source the stones since they were a special antique cut, and she emphasized the importance of matching the quality so it wouldn’t detract from the other diamonds. I didn’t know anything about this since this is the first diamond ring I’ve ever owned, but after meeting with Jenny, I just knew she would take good care of my ring. That trust was returned tenfold. I now have the most beautiful ring, and I’m the one raving about Jenny whennever I get compliments on it. I can’t say enough nice things about Jenny and her team, they are the best when it comes to heirloom jewelry. Amy at Diamonds Forever gave me an antique jewelry appraisal that told me all sorts of fun details and allowed me to get my ring insured. I’m so grateful I found them!”
In 2022, for Mallory G, we restored a pair of antique Art Deco 14K white gold drop diamond earrings. “I inherited a pair of antique earrings from my aunt, and while I cherished them, I was always nervous to wear them because they were so old and delicate. After a few years of admiring them in my jewelry box, I decided it was time to do something about it. I searched around San Diego for the right jewelry store and finally landed on Diamonds Forever. When I met with Jenny and Amy, I felt confident I was in the right hands. They showed me a collection of beautifully restored antique necklaces, rings, and bracelets. I knew they could breathe new life into my earrings. They were transparent about the entire process and informed me every step of the way, which I appreciated. When I finally picked them up, I was absolutely amazed. The earrings were even more stunning than I could have imagined, perfectly capturing their original charm while making them safe to wear. While they aren’t for everyday wear, they have become my go-to earrings for all special occasions. I couldn’t be happier with the work done at Diamonds Forever. If you’re in San Diego and you need a piece of jewelry worked on, visit Jenny and Amy!”
In 2019, for Heath F, we restored an antique Art Nouveau diamond pin in 14K white gold and then designed a custom tennis bracelet around it: “I brought in an old brooch that my wife had inherited about 20 years ago, and I had this crazy idea to turn it into a custom tennis bracelet for our anniversary. The pin needed some restoration first, and then the team at Diamonds Forever worked their magic to create the bracelet. I was on a bit of a covert mission with this one, sweating it that she might notice it was missing, but luckily, everything went off without a hitch. I know my wife loves it because she wears it all the time. It’s a unique piece that no one else has, and that’s exactly what I was going for. Jenny and the team at Diamonds Forever did an amazing job with the heirloom redesign, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. If you’re looking to create something custom that’s truly special, I highly recommend them!”
In 2022, for Sally W, we restored an antique emerald and diamond ring in 22K yellow gold from the Victorian Romantic Period: “I recently came across a ring at an estate sale and decided to have it appraised to ensure it was authentic. Naturally, I only wanted the best for this piece, so I searched for ‘antique jewelry near me’ and found Diamonds Forever. Amy at Diamonds Forever examined the ring and confirmed that it was indeed a genuine antique, likely from the Victorian era. However, she mentioned that more testing and research would be necessary to pin down the exact details, but first, the ring needed some work. A few prongs were broken, some tiny stones were chipped, and there were a few other issues with the metal. I must admit, I was a bit apprehensive about leaving my ring, but after seeing some of their beautifully restored antique and vintage pieces of jewelry, I felt reassured. They did a stellar job on the restoration, and now I have a much deeper understanding of the ring’s history than I ever would have otherwise. Plus, it turns out I got a really good deal on it, which is always nice to discover. If you’re looking for great customer service and expertise in antique jewelry, Diamonds Forever is a great place to try.”
In 2019, for Abby R, we restored an antique diamond brooch in 18K yellow gold from the Georgian Period and then redesigned it into a pendant: “I brought in an antique brooch that’s been in the family for generations because I’m not really into wearing brooches. They transformed it into the most gorgeous pendant! The custom redesign turned out even better than I imagined, and I get so many compliments on it. Thank You Diamonds Forever!”
In 2021, for Sara N, we restored her antique engagement ring with doves in platinum from the Art Nouveau Period: “I recently brought in my antique engagement ring to Diamonds Forever for a much-needed refresh. This ring is incredibly special to me as it was my great-grandmother’s, and I’ve worn it every day for the past ten years. Over time, it has started to show its age, and I wanted to bring back its original beauty without losing any of its sentimental value. From the moment I walked into Diamonds Forever, I felt confident that I had made the right choice. Jenny and her team took the time to understand just how important this ring was to me. They were incredibly careful and thorough in their approach. When I picked up my ring, I was blown away. They made it look even better than when I first started wearing it, and I imagine this is exactly how it must have looked when my great-grandmother first wore it. I’m beyond happy with the results and so grateful to the team at Diamonds Forever for their exceptional work. They handled my ring with the utmost care and respect. If you have a piece that means the world to you, I can’t recommend them enough. My ring is now more beautiful than ever.”
In 2017, for Carmen T, we restored an antique pair of Old European Cut diamond dangling earrings in 15K yellow gold from the Edwardian Period “I brought in my antique earrings to Diamonds Forever, and I’m so glad I did! It turns out some of the prongs were worn down and needed repair, and one of the stones was chipped. Jenny and her team were so helpful—they gave me a few options for the repairs. In the end, I decided to get all the necessary work done and wait to replace the chipped diamond until it actually falls out. I’m really happy with that decision, and I’ve had them for a few months now, so far, the diamond is still hanging in there! I really appreciate that Jenny gave me options that fit my budget. It was more important to me to protect the entire pair of earrings instead of spending everything on just one diamond, and honestly, you can’t even tell that one is chipped. I also appreciate their honesty and at least now I know what to expect. But so far, so good! I wore these earrings at my wedding, and I was so happy to have them for that special day. Thank you, Diamonds Forever, for taking such great care of me!”
In 2013, for Gus T, we restored an antique pearl brooch in 19K yellow gold with scrolling from the Baroque Period and then modified it to make it into a stunning pendant: “Jenny and the crew at Diamonds Forever are absolute legends. I brought in an old brooch that was missing pearls, thinking it was beyond saving, but Jenny took what we had and worked some serious magic. She restored what she could and turned the rest into the most beautiful pendant for my wife. My wife wears it every day, and it will mean everything to our newborn when we pass it down to her on her 18th birthday. After seeing her mom rock it for 18 years, it will be something really special. Can’t speak highly enough of Jenny and her team – they’ve got mad skills and are just the nicest people you’ll ever meet.”
In 2018, for Polly H, we restored an antique Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring in platinum: “I can’t believe I let my great-great-aunt’s fancy ring sit in my jewelry box for 15 years! It was a bit of a mess, but after my neighbor kept telling me about Jenny at Diamonds Forever, I finally made the trip. Boy, am I glad I did! Jenny, who is the lead designer and owner, made the whole process so easy. Now I’ve got this amazing ring to wear, and it’s absolutely stunning! Jenny explained why it’s so special, but I’ll be honest, I forget the details. All I know is that it’s gorgeous, and I can’t stop looking at it! I’m so happy!”
In 2024, for Gene F, we restored an antique Art Nouveau diamond and pearl pin in 18K yellow gold and then made it into a necklace “I brought in this old antique pin that’s been in my family for ages, and I wanted to make it into a necklace. I was super nervous because it was my first time doing a redesign, and I didn’t want to mess up something so special. But Jenny made it all so easy! She’s amazing to work with, and the necklace turned out even better than I ever hoped for. I’m so thrilled with how it came out! Jenny totally got what I was going for, and I’m so glad I trusted her with this piece. It means so much to more to me now!”
